On 20 October 2024, the 69 youth students of Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru, Malaysia, embraced an unforgettable journey of leadership and self-growth during our Youth Leadership Program (YLP)!

 

Supported by the Orphan Debate Network and World Travelers Toastmasters Club, the event was packed with exciting activities, meaningful lessons, and unforgettable moments.

-Ice Breaker & Speech Sessions to boost confidence

-Overcoming Fear & Impromptu Speaking Practice

-TikTok Dance-Off to foster teamwork and creativity

-YLP Challenge – where students crafted proposals for a School Carnival Booth!

 

A huge shoutout to YLP coordinators: Eliza Yuliana, Zarina Abd Kadir, Kathy Toh, Lim Jun Jie, Ibrahim Mohammad Ismail & Jean Chua, and everyone involved in making this event a success. It was incredible to witness these young leaders sharpen their communication skills, overcome fears, and have fun along the way!
